acrylic on canvas

Handmade painted clay tile with symbols from the Taino culture to represent the essence of the island of it's people, Boriken.

Acrylic on canvas. Commissioned portrait.

Digital Art. This painting touches on the heaviness and loneliness that trauma from gender-based violence can bring into a victim’s lives. The message is for survivors to know that they are not alone and with the love of community and care we can help heal each other. The symbols in the background of the painting are runes for Life, Protection, Love, and Strength. All symbols that represent the energy that community can bring to the healing process. Painted live for a 16 Days of Activism event.
